Or: Should I Start a Podcast?
Have you ever seen those videos of athletes being “mic’d up” during practice? You hear all their inside thoughts, their whispers to themselves. I would recommend you look them up if you ever need a good laugh.
I’m convinced that if I ever did that to myself, I’d go viral. Not because I’m that cool (definitely not) but because my inside thoughts are FUNNY.
(I only know that because people always seem to laugh when I say them.)
My thoughts are wild, uncontrolled, and a little bit naughty sometimes. That’s why I started this blog. I did not only want to rant about the political and social state of our world, but also to add a bit of humor to the blogosphere.
I started this blog because my thoughts don’t belong in a comment section. Social media feels loud and reactive, and my brain doesn’t really work that way. Writing gives my thoughts room to breathe — with humor, honesty, and a little less pressure to perform.
I honestly feel like an early 2000s movie star writing this. I can hear Hillary Duff’s voice in my head. I think my next step is getting a MySpace or Tumblr account.
I mean, really, who blogs anymore? Before writing this, the only blogs I read were “Best Pound Cake Recipe” and “What to Expect When You are Investing” (that last one was for a college business class).
So yeah — now I’m a blogger. Probably a successful one. Hyping myself up early.
Let me know what you want me to write about next.

Best, Audrey 🤍.
